Realme X2 to Get Android 10 based realme UI – Beta Tester Recruitment Begins

Realme is a brand which came to the market as a subbrand of Oppo over a year ago. However, within a short period of time, the brand gained a lot of spotlight in the market. With a number of options available for users launched in a short period of time Realme gained a lot of sales. In some markets like India Realme models where able to perform better than their parent brand Oppo. With this success in the market, Oppo is planning to give Realme its own identity. As a start to this plan a new UI specifically meant for Realme devices are in the making.

The ColorOS developed by Oppo over their Android operating system was given for all Realme devices so far. But as per reports, a new UI termed as the Realme UI is under development. The Realme X2 is planned to be the first device to get this latest update along with Android 10.

The beta tester recruitment for the realme UI based on Android 10 is officially announced now. This makes the Realme users who are already satisfied with the many updates they got happier. The flagship Realme X2 already got the December 2019 security patch along with other bug fixes and enhancement. With the latest Android 10 coming into the device the Realme will surely get the extra boost in the market they are hoping to get.

Applications are now open for experienced OS beta testers to join for the testing of real me UI. The applications can be submitted from January 20 when the application forms will be officially made available. There are certain requirements put forward to be eligible for this testing. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • Must be an Indian resident
  • At least 18 years old
  • Owns a realme X2 (other devices cannot enroll)
  • Provable experience in OS Beta testing
  • Willing to provide Aadhar card or other forms of identification proof
  • Willing to sign an NDA (infringement will trigger legal action)
